Navigation and Support Services
H.E.R. Housing Network — Helping Everyone Rise — assists individuals and families with housing readiness, document organization, and community resource navigation. Please note that we provide guidance and coaching; we do not issue vouchers, determine official eligibility, or guarantee housing approval.
Core Navigation Support
We offer hands-on coaching and practical guidance to help you prepare your paperwork, understand housing options, and work effectively with caseworkers and community programs.
Document Readiness
Get assistance gathering, reviewing, and organizing crucial records, including identification, income verification, and benefit correspondence, so you are ready when opportunities arise.
Housing Navigation
Learn how to navigate rental search steps, coordinate communication with your designated caseworkers, and understand public rental-assistance frameworks like CityFHEPS.
Resource Referrals
Connect with local community programs, supportive services, and advocacy support through Legal Bridge Advocacy NYC (not a law firm) for broader guidance.
How Our Intake Process Works
Getting started is simple and direct: submit our online intake form, outline your housing background and any impending deadlines, and collaborate with us to review documentation and establish clear next steps. For immediate danger or medical emergencies, please dial 911, as housing intake is not an emergency response service. Questions can also be sent directly to Support@HerHousingNetwork.Org.
CityFHEPS Application Guidance
Understanding CityFHEPS requirements can feel overwhelming. We help you assemble standard paperwork, prepare for appointments, and coordinate with your assigned shelter or HRA caseworker. Please note that NYC DSS evaluates all official program eligibility and approvals; H.E.R. Housing Network serves strictly as an educational and navigation resource.
Comprehensive Support
From initial situation reviews to continuous coaching throughout your housing search, we focus on empowering you with practical skills and thorough documentation. Connect with our Queens-based team today to start working through your readiness checklist.
